The Spot - Two Rocks
This 60,000m2 project was finished in May 2016 with 50 residential lots and a 6,700m2 Group Housing site. There was every aspect of civil construction involved with this subdivision, including 50,000m3 of bulk earthworks, over 500m of retaining walls and more than 8,000m2 of roads.
The most challenging part of these works was the relocation of the Fibre Optic Cables and the High Pressure Gas Main along the Two Rocks Road verge to allow for the installation of the sewer and water reticulation. The installation and relocation of these major vital services, all combined with the hard limestone encountered at depth, took a great deal of effort from the crew and it was completed without issue. The sewer had to be microtunnelled through a large rocky hill which went for 100m to allow a section of the HP gas to remain.
